Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) operates under a Strategic Plan. This document provides guidance to AIWC, the Board of Directors, management, employees and volunteers in pursuit of AIWC’s vision and mission.
AIWC has been operating in wildlife conservation and rehabilitation since 1993. The organization is a non-profit, Alberta Veterinary Medical Association accredited veterinary hospital, which has experienced a great amount of growth over its 27-year history. Its operations are managed by an Executive Director, with oversight by its Board of Directors. Both in governance and in operations, AIWC strives to be ethical, accountable, and compassionate. AIWC is a steward of Alberta’s wildlife, and makes a positive impact on wildlife conservation, rehabilitation, and our coexistence with wildlife.
