For less than the price of a cup of coffee, you can help feed a red fox kit in need for a day.

Born completely reliant on their parents, red fox kits quickly grow into mischievous, curious little furballs — but orphaned kits need weeks of specialized care before they can return to the wild.

At AIWC, a fox kit may remain in care for up to 130 days, initially receiving formula, species-appropriate diets, medical treatments, daily cleaning, and the careful husbandry needed to help them grow wild, not tame. Feeding a single kit can cost about $2.50 per day, while the staff time required to monitor, feed, clean, and support growing kits can bring daily care costs closer to $54 per kit.

In 2025, AIWC cared for 7 red foxes, and we often receive 6–8 fox kits each year, with a strong track record of successful releases.
